What Can I Expect?
Your desired results and the extent of your volume loss will determine the number of treatments that you need. But as far as the procedure goes, a numbing medication will be applied to your face after a facial cleansing. Then, a tiny needle or cannula will be used to inject the filler into the target areas. There is very little discomfort associated with this process, and you will see immediate results that can last for a year or more.
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body. By triggering collagen production in your cells, fillers work to reduce wrinkles, add volume and hydration to lips, and replace lost volume.
How do Dermal Fillers Work?
A typical HA filler is soft and gel-like, which keeps skin hydrated and plump when injected. Particles are gradually absorbed by the body over a period of six to twelve months, stimulating your body’s natural collagen production processes.
When will I see the results?
It is usually possible to see results immediately after injections.
How long will I see results?
Depending on the area being treated, results may last between 6 and 18 months.
