How Does Sculptra® Work?
Sculptra® is an injectable substance made of poly-l-lactic acid that stimulates the body to generate new collagen to replace lost volume over time. After completing an initial series of treatments, the effects of Sculptra® can last up to 2 years or longer.
When Will I Start Seeing Results After My Sculptra® Treatment?
After your treatment, you may notice some swelling, which gives the area an impression of greater volume. Within a few days, the swelling will disappear, and the added volume will go down. Over the next several months, your body will begin to gradually produce collagen. This collagen growth will help lift, sculpt, and restore volume to hollowed areas of the face. How Many Treatments Will I Need?
