Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are suitable for any skin type. Peels can address numerous skin concerns, including aging skin, sun damage, melasma, acne, and others.
VI Peel
What is the VI Peel?
The VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel for all skin types. There are 5 different options in the VI Peel collection. They each contain a safe, yet potent combination of ingredients specifically formulated to address multiple skin concerns such as aging skin, sun damage, melasma, acne, and more.
What areas can be treated?
VI Peels are safe for all skin types and can be used on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and back.
The VI Peel can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, combat dark spots and discoloration, and improve acne breakouts and scarring. It is also helpful for rough skin and can reduce the appearance of Keratosis Pilaris (chicken skin).
What can I expect?
During your consultation, we will decide which peel is best for your skin and your desired results. Your provider will then clean your skin and apply the solution. The treatment is quick, only taking about 10-15 minutes to apply. Burning or stinging is rare as there is a numbing agent in the peel.
We will review post-peel care and send you home with a post-peel kit containing all of the products you will need for the next week. It is very important to follow the instructions carefully to avoid any undesired side effects. Peeling begins on day 3 and lasts about 2-3 days. Results are seen within 7 days. While there can be a significant improvement in the skin after a single peel, several may be needed at least one month apart to achieve desired results.
