How Does Sculptra® Work?
Sculptra® is a volumizing substance made of poly-l-lactic acid that stimulates the body to generate new collagen to replace lost volume over time. The effects of Sculptra® can range from 6 weeks to 3 months.
When Will I Start Seeing Results After My Sculptra® Treatment?
After your treatment, you may notice some swelling, which gives the area an impression of greater volume. Within a few days, the swelling will disappear, making it appear as if you didn’t have surgery. Your body will begin producing collagen within a few days of your treatment. The majority of people notice changes after three weeks. After receiving Sculptra® injections, your results will continue to improve for about three months.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
There is no set number of treatments. At least three treatments are recommended on average.
Is There Any Downtime?
Slight bruising may occur after your treatment. If you are planning an event or a special occasion, scheduling your appointment two weeks in advance is recommended.
